Well, I'm not a fire mage, but like you I'm planning tto make one myself. I'm using it to fund. I don't think they need money, except for pots. However, mages are very rich and I don't think you need any money...

hm....I haven't made a mage remember, but I think mp eater helps a bit and saves you some money. I don't think F/P and I/L " god I hate I/L (¬.¬*)" need a lot of mp pots, and you've always got mp recovery when standing still, it doesn't take that long... And of course, I mention they are rich, so use that money. Remember, I haven't made a F/P yet, so it will be better if you ask a real one.

Well...if u use Magic Guard...than obviously u need a lot of MP pots...I'm a fire mage...i don't necessarily waste that much money everytime i repot...i just buy about 100 orange pots and 125 mp elixers...wasting about 100k each time...

You ppl waste too much money,I still use regular noobie pots such as blue,orange,sometimes mana elixir,it works fine with me,but that's only cause I manual heal (mages heal quite fast manually) so it all depends on how you play,other then that,fire mages aren't costly because of the less mp they require to kill an enemy due to high dmg effiency and which monsters you train on (i.e jr yetis give a ton of money)

I'd say don't use Magic Guard unless your in pq or on a boss monster or on really strong monsters. And Hoidual you are wrong, even with MP Eater maxed (i will never max it), you have 30% chance of getting 40% of the enemys MP, which is really low because F/P Wizard don't have mob skills so they have less chance of getting MP. I used to put MG on all the time but i was burning like 130 mana elixirs each lvl around lvl 20, which means like 88k, and if you aren't founded it'll be hard to make it. (I'm not funded, but now i am lvl 32 with like 200k only).

we dont need alot of money except when we are repotting but every time i do i only need like 50 mana elixers which are 31k and i gain 100k everytime i go to jr. yetis so i gain alot of money

hey, does anyone know if f/p mages can make decent lvling if they start with poison brace xD? and does meditation help posion?

well if ur going to make a fire/poison u won't need too much money, just enough to get a wand and u'll be fine, stick with the armour that u got till u can afford better
