"Alien Threat" Event

Ok, so thus far, 2 days in, I already find this event rather... suckish. I mean, the quests take about 15-20 min to complete for each character (I have 5 that I do it on) and they're just not really fun . I mean, isn't the point of events to have something INTERESTING to do, rather than the same tired stuff every day? And if you miss one day, you miss the whole rest of the event? What kind of crap is that? Ugh... I just think it's tedious. Also, I hate the fixed damage and the Aliens (especially the DW and Slinger-like aliens). Stage 1 of this event gets a 2/10 from me. Anyone else feel the same? Discuss. EDIT: Ok, from what I understand, you have to participate in these quests EVERY DAY to be able to move onto the next stage of this event. That is how I interpreted the info Nexon gave out. If I am wrong, please correct me. But for all of you people who missed day 1 of the event, you might be screwed (like with the lunchboxes T.T). Sorry :/ EDIT 2: I have been informed that I am incorrect, and that you only miss a MOUNT if you do not do these quests all 7 days. So you people who missed a day, you can still do that rest of the event! I must admit that I myself thought it was a bit harsh to make it so you could only do the rest of the event if you did the first part all 7 days... I guess I just misread the info.

darn looks like I need to make 4 other chars do this quest to be as bored as you are. you do realize you don't even have to fight the aliens except for those 2 short protection quests. the time is so short I can't even have time to feel anything about the event so far. I'm in and out.

I think the Plant Base Defense one is the funnest iunno why, maybe the sound of the skills? It's just fun for me O_O

And I'm hoping it was worth it to do all this stuff. JustBlazeddd Yeah. But the only reason I'm doing it on the 4 others is for the Katara for my DB, the Knuckle and Gun for my Brawler and Slinger respectively, and then probably the Belt for my Aran. Below That's exactly what I was thinking. I get KB'd all the time when fighting and it's REALLY annoying. The attacks are way too slow and I burn inordinate amounts of pots for fighting these things. The attacks are also too slow, as you said. I think the exp should be proportional to your level. That would at least make it somewhat worth it I think.

I agree it's pretty boring. If the attacks were faster and the exp were better, I might enjoy it significantly more.

Its only the first part, and the point of the slow attacks and movement is so its HARDER and you can't just ohko all the monsters.

to me, you dont have to do it every single day, but if you did it for a whole week, you can get a special prize.

[/quote] I know, but the DW-like aliens take at least 4 hits to kill IIRC, and the can launch attacks from like, anywhere, while you can't hit them. They KB you constantly (because apparently my 300 avoid doesn't come into play in these quests -.-"), and the Slinger ones also attack at a ridiculous range that you can't match. My point is, why should I have to burn all these pots with basically no reward. I also pointed out that I'm hoping for more from part 2 of the event. gt6player From what I understand, you HAVE to do these quests for all 7 days to even be able to participate in the next part of the event. Correct me if I've misunderstood the info.

I for once, love it. Although the fixed damage is kinda "meh", this reminds me of the Agent Event. I think it is very original and rather fun, and looks magnificent on the aesthetic part. Nexon has done a very thorough job spriting this, I love the variety of mechs and suits, as well as the detail in the backgrounds (<3 crashed underwater spaceship <3) I have no problem repeating the quests, but I do agree that a bit more variation (monsters, mission) would definitely improve the gameplay as well as the overall experience. Other than that this is 20 joyful and well spent minutes for me.
