Grrrr Spirit of Rock

Has anyone done the quest in Kerning City shopping center (or something like that) where you have to kill the Spirit of Rock? I did all the other quests, and am stuck with this one atm. I am a level 39 wind archer, not too weak, but I can't seem to be able to kill him. Everytime I get him really low, he heals himself and boom, I spend another 10 mins bringing it down, only for him to heal himself again. This is getting really tiring, and since I am kinda new to Galicia, I don't know many people who'd be able/willing to help me... So I'm asking you, if you know of any good strategy to solo him on my wind archer Altho, I'd appreciate any help on killing him as well *shy face*

I did it at 45 because i did MUSHROOM KINGDOM first >_>

LOL i just finished it. make sure u turn on ur volume to hear his last song before u kill it since u'll be asked by the npc afterward. it took 10 whole min on my slinger lv 43 :/ but just keep at it? i was basically pinned against the wall and just spam'd shooting. i used white potions (300hp) and blue potions (100mp). worked fine. o.o i got 15% after i defeated it and talked to the npc. howeverrrr i didn't take the song seriously and i muted the ms music LOL so when i got to that part where the npc asked u what song it was, i ctrl alt del ms and reopened again (if u pick wrong u gotta kill it again). so going back to the npc, it asks u what song it was and another quest came up too. so i clicked the other one, which was to deliver composition notes to lana. i did that, and she said to talk to blake. i did, and got the earrings. i still got the earrings and exp even tho i didnt answer the other question... o.o glitch? idk. edit/ the earring is totally not worth it. +1 all stats, 4 slots, untradeable unless u use SoK. with potential stuff out...it's sooo not worth it. the quests are somewhat tedious...so unless ur a fast strong killer, grinding somewhere popular/cpq FWs are faster.

you have till 50 so as an archer i would go back at 45, plus u cant even wear reward until 45 so that would be more useful for u

I killed it with my even at lvl 40 o.o solo'd. It shouldn't be a problem for you lol.
