Is gunslingers in 2nd job really that bad?

I am planning to make a gunslinger and are they really that bad in 2nd job? I have 100m and two 8attwg and 12 att wg. is it really going to be bad? p.s their dmg per hit sux but they fire fast so doesnt it coverup the sucky dmg?

Depends what you mean by bad. There damage isn't the best, but they have some very fun skills (recoil shot and wings).

i sorta rushed through 2nd job in like a week but i must say, yea it was painful getting from 60-70

Alright, make one after big bang. The flamethrower animation will peece you offff. It looks so stupid. But when BBU comes out, it will look really good and you will wanna train just to see that effin' beast. Invis shot gets upped a ton and 1-30 is nothing after BBU. Actually, 1-80 is nothing. Corsairs have a a wonderful battleship and cannon and torp get to be OP. Super OP.

I am leveling my Gunslinger atm and haven't encountered many problems yet.� But, I'm not over lvl 55, so up to this point I have gotten most of my exp from PQing. I guess they might be hell from 55-70. If you like the class then it's always worth it. If you are playing a class that you like, better damage is only helping you level it faster.

60-70 is hell everything else should be a breeze, but third job is the hard part

70-120 is an even longer road, ahh sniping newts...
