Algebra 1 honors?

So, school just started and I got into a math class called Algebra 1 Honors. I don't know what it is, but i heard it's like a step above advanced? I'm not sure can someone please explain what this is. In 7th grade btw.

Honors Class usually does the same thing as normal ones.. but algebra 1 Honors might have challenge packets when Algebra 1 doesn't. Also, you guys might go ahead a bit further in the book since you will go through the chapters faster

Algebra 1 Honors means your doing high school math. Your smart. I got that class too :D

In my School You can take Alg 1 Honors at 7th grade and move onto Geometry in 8th grade. Basically you skip Pre-Alg and advance into a more advance alg 1.

It means that when you go into High School, assuming the norm where you live is to take Algebra 1 Freshman year, you will be taking Pre Calc-esque classes. By the time you reach Senior year, you'll be in College level Math classes, should you decide to go that route.

if ur asian, ur probably gonna be fine if ur not, u might be fine, but most likely not in my school ( its like 90% asian) most sevvies have honors algebra

Don't mind HIM. HIS brain is a mess and just recognizes any answer different from HIS wrong LOL. Have fun trying to solve any of her questions because all HE will do is prove you wrong with HIS "superior intellect". Oh, and don't forget, a hyphen is the symbol for equals in HIS mind so.... x-6 is x=6 in HIS miniscule brain . Don't worry. Those aren't my words. A harder version of algebra 1. How much harder really depends on your school and teacher. Don't worry, if you can pay attention and have a decent amount of brain, you'll do fine.

its just algebra 1 that moves faster and tends to do more hard questions. its not too hard but i had it in 9th grade
