Why does AB do more damage?

Hi there everyone, I've searched and searched around for any information on this topic and couldn't find any so I've resorted to making a thread. As you can guess from the title my concern is about the skill arrow bomb. What seems to be happening is arrow bomb is doing much more dmg than it really should be doing. Now In this thread I'm going to include some screen shots as proof (I would have if I had enough positive feed back to add them). I first started noticing it when the "instant kill" function was added when adventurer rings came out. Because if I'm not mistaken, Nest Golems have 80k hp but... I end up doing a magic 120k hit with arrow bomb, now with any other skill mind you I do end up hitting 80k on a instant kill. Now I don't just do extra dmg when it comes to the instant kill function, I also believe I do extra dmg normally. I first noticed it while tinkering around Wind Raiders when I was going to Typhons. I did arrow bomb, and out of nowhere I did a 7k hit and was surprised but thought nothing of it. but went around some more with arrow rain and found it DIFFICULT to do even 6k for a hit. And the thing about it is that AR does 160% and arrow bomb does 150% dmg, so if anything I should see the 7khits from Arrow rain. -I will add all my screen shots here showing my damage and stats at a later time when I have better positive feedback- Now the most peculiar thing I find about this, is that I believe (because I haven't done the math) that I shouldn't be ABLE to do a 7k hit, even WITH the warrior elixir I have enabled in my screen shot. But then again I shouldn't be able to do more dmg than the monsters hp on a 1hk either. Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this I would love to hear some feedback thanks again. ~Gary

Well that hit is 1.5x the regular hit so maybe because AB is 150%? and it doesn't work like that with other skills? >_<

Arrow Bomb is a little weird. With Critical, you'll do 300% damage with Arrow bomb. With Arrow Rain and Critical, you'll only do 260% damage. Critical for Arrow Bomb will double, but for every other still it adds 100%

Oh I guess I never noticed it before. I have been playing for 4 1/2 years or so now and I remember when it used to be that the initial hit with bomb arrow did less than the other 5 potential hits you could have and other such bomb arrow issues. But then again I never made it into third job on a ranger until now, so I could never see the significant damage difference I guess. But anyway thanks a lot for the help.
