| Ok now i sometimes see this as either win or fail since the odds of getting what you want in a potential are rather LOW and even if you do get a potential item you most likely have to cube it till you get the stats you want So is buying them hidden really worth it? |

|
DrHye : It's not selfish and lazy, they're being smart. They're willing to sell for a guaranteed price because they don't have to risk getting awful stats, and people will buy it because they're willing to take that risk.
Your argument is invalid, if you got a potential skanda with 6% LUK, 3+ LUk and 5% all stats, you wouldnt sell it (unless your a dmg whoar) Youd most likely make a char and this use it to start the whole process over and over again Rine and Repeat my friends <3 |

|
darkspawn980 : it's also better for hi-level equipment like weapons, because you don't have to worry about potentialing it.
That's one thing that I'd agree with. However, they could still have the courtesy to Identify it. Because either way, either the buyer will be cubing it, or just plain want the stats, and then the price would be higher then hidden. |

| I think you shouldn't be able to sell them because of this: ~Jimmy potentials his perfect Claw, but it only gets 2 lines of potential. He is depressed that his claw isn't perfect anymore. He remembers about Miracle Cubes in the Cash Shop, he buys one, and uses it. Then Jimmy tries to sell his claw with hidden potential hoping that people will buy it thinking that they have a chance of three lines of potential.~ Scamming with NX :P GG Nexon? |

| Now that i think about it, having equips with potentials is like a double bladed sword It can either work for you or against you |

|
neobaby : Dont bother, He doesnt see our point.
Oh really? Ok so im blind for wanting to magnify an item wasting 120k meso just see what it has and if i dont i can make 5m? Alot of COMMON (!) items are worth more then 5m, gfas are (as i know worth 6-8m) and they have a better drop rate then potential items EDIT: Atm 1/5 people say they would cube it and 4/5 say it is a waste of mesos 5m mesos could get me over 2k mana bulls, and during the time of those mana bulls i could stumble upon another hidden potential item that i would use a mglass on and if it happens to have decent or godly stats i would sell it |
No no, they're still selfish and lazy. They're merchanting. Merchanting is DRIVEN by selfishness. Merchants aren't "normal" buyers. Merchanting is held by once principle. "Buy Low, Sell High." Translation: Make prices higher then they need to be, for your own gain, and others' loss. I never said it wasn't smart. It's the taking of potentially worthless items, and pawning them off like normal goods. It's Snake-Oil Salesmanship. Taking something worthless, and selling it to those who aren't informed enough to realize what they're buying. (Or rich enough to not have to care) You call it smart, I call it the exploitation of less-informed buyers. And I think exploitation is rude, selfish, and lazy. |

| Theres a difference between cubing and not buying it. If there was a 8/5 Hidden pirate robe, I may buy it just for the 8 str and 5 dex, but the hidden is just a bonus and is worth paying 2m for a chance to have +5 to all stats. If i get +3 int, now I can hp was 1 more time in 150 levels :D |

|
Deathunit10 : share your secrets on the 5m in 5 minutes rule :P
Well since I already have meso, I wouldn't have to resell, but my net worth would go up 5m. But if I buy a chaos scroll for 5m under the current price, I'd go buy my earring/wep and leave the scroll in my shop overnight. |

| I hate people who try to sell unidentified stuff. Seriously, a really good identified earring is like 10mil yet they sell unidentified ones for 15mil+ and actually expect people to buy it. |

|
wickedtmage : The problem with that methos of buying is that you have no way of knowing if the item has 2 stats or 3 stats, lets get real, 3 stats offers a lot more potential. This is how they try to fool people, also people like to open things, discover what they are. Im not that dumb lol I am almost 100% positive they saw it had 2 sats, that they were crapy, and used a cube to hide the fact to sell it.
Of course someone wants to spend 1.2k Nx just to sell the item for 3mil so they could trick the buyer. :O |
