so after years of hearing people ranting and raving about anime i finally decided to try and watch some, and omg i like it lol but anywayy i guess i need someone to reccomend me a good one to watchhhh. i already finished black lagoon and hellsing and i want something like those two ya know. i want somethin gorey, sexy, funny, and with a good story. oh and one that is english dubbed plz EDIT: i also finished highschool of the dead, and i dont like big robot anime

First thing that came to mind was the overrated but awesome series, High School of the Dead. Only at 7 episodes though.

First of all watch Dragon Ball/Z but not GT. Then you know what most animes are like. Watch One Piece (Number 3 (How the hell did that happen?) in Japan), Full Metal Alchemist Brother hood, Fairy Tail, HunterXHunter and such action adventure ones. If you are more of a drama/romance type of watcher I suggest you to watch Detective Conan, Toradora!, Eden of the East, Gai Rei Zero as someone said. If you want a comedy Gintama is a MUST. So is Lucky Star, Hayate no Gotoku and anime in that style. Must Watch: Dragon Ball/Z, One Piece, Fairy Tail (because of the similarity to One Piece), Bleach (You can read the manga too if you want to skip fillers), Gintama (This anime got EVERYTHING!) and Naruto (if you want to skip the AWFULLY GIGANTIC FILLERS read the manga). All I can recommend for you. Have a nice day. ^_^
