Your thoughts on 50% scrolls?

Edit: Apparently people are too lazy to read so for anyone saying 'if it was a glitch they would remove it' it's not that easy. You can't just take it out with no other circumstances. Coding isn't easy, you can't just pull it out and expect it to run smoothly. Read on - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My personal beliefs say that they are a glitch. Anyone who disagrees, I'm willing to try and prove it to you. They have a million different people coding MapleStory and people believe that the 50% scrolls are for Arans only because it's special. I disagree, I think it's because some coder screwed up. Thus, you end up with a blank scroll and you can turn it into a 50%. It wasn't meant to be there, it was an accident. A mistake. Some coders fault. If you send a ticket to nexon about this, they will reply that they are working on it. Obviously they know about it, but don't know how to fix it. People are using the excuse that it's not a glitch or a bug so they can go out and farm thousands of it. That's millions of mesos being deflated from the economy. Not just because the prices of 50% 2h scrolls are going down, but because god-like weapons are being created. That puts others hardwork to waste and shame because some new/lazy mapler decide he wanted the easy way in. (this is an example and the stats are probably wrong). "Oh I spent a few months getting the money and scrolls to make my ski ski to 130!" - "Wow noob. It took me a day to get enough 50% scrolls to make a 135 sky ski" - Do you see whats wrong with that sentence? All together, I believe it's wrong to farm excessively for these scrolls, and to say that it's legit as well. If your going to do it, at least say that your exploiting a glitch/bug. Post your opinions below. You can flame me if you want, but there will always be a report sign next to your comment.

If you think about it, you're right. Nexon didn't want thousands of these scrolls to be released.

It's an glitch because they did not intend on having hundreds of people making lots of arans and farming them. A glitch is something that was not intended by the programming so it's a glitch.

Do you guys even read? When you talk to gaga it says "cassandra gave u a nameless(meaning blank) scroll? So that means that the coder also accidently made an npc to trade in the nameless scrolls?

[/quote] The old event where you collected items for cassandra, sometimes you would end up with a blank scroll. The NPC was for THEM. Not every level 10 Aran that came out with a glitched scroll.

Why haven't they fixed it yet? it's been weeks, they could have replaced the scroll or just removed the event easily a long time ago.

Weapons and equips cost to much anyways. Mesos need deflation i think the godliest item shouldn't be over max mesos.
