Is there a way to play Maple China?

I'm in China right now to look after my grandpa and I'm going to have to stay here for another month. And i know it sounds horrilbe but its really boring and I literally think im starting to hate him. Needless to say I think im going insane. I literally do nothing to do all day except read summer reading book from my school or watch TV with my grandpa im Chinese and my chinese is really bad so I cant understand it at all. In addition, my grandpa cant speak english so....yeah. Is there anyway I can play Maple in CHina cuz i know China blocks some things( like Facebook). I already have Maple installed on a comp and I have interent but it odesnt seem to work. Is it cuz CHina is blocking it? Is there a way to bypass this? Thanks in advance

MapleSEA doesnt work here in hong kong and not in china either cus we have maple hong kong, and china is blocked i believe from GMS and SEAMS, because they are allowed to connect to HKMS. Therefore, as said before.... u have to use Hotspot sheild like me. But hotspot sheild wont work in china. Im on hong kong thats why it works for me. But in china thats a whole different matter. good luck trying to by pass the GREAT CHINESE firewall.... EDIT: ur just going to have to wait sry guys. :P or come to hong kong where hotspot sheild works to bypass the ip ban

I am in China too, and what I found is that all chinese IP adresses are blocked by Nexon, for some reason. Thus, you can't play Global MapleStory. However there are services such as Hotspotshield or Hide-my-IP. Personally, I took a break from MapleStory and downloaded the chinese version or Kartrider (an awesome game which is no longer offered by Nexon in America).

The Great Chinese Firewall - Only virtual made object able to be seen from the moon. OT: Hotspot Shield seems about right, although if you can use Hotspot Shield shouldn't you be able to access GMS then?

Cus u cant log into the nexon website with hotspot sheild on. Itll say suspicious ip.

Use GameLauncher.exe in your MapleStory folder if you can't log into the website. Launch the file, then press the Start Game option which will allow you to play Maple like everyone used to. Ahhh.. Good ol' times.
