Okay as wierd as this might seem, seeing how BMTH is a creappy deathcore band, but I'm enjoying this sample from their upcoming album. Its actually pretty good, give it a listen, its 30 seconds long. I'm a huge fan of screamo and this seems to have screamo influences in a way, reminds me of Suis La Lune. twinkly sad music with sad sounding vocals.

Nah, it sounds way too calculated for me to like it (lol @ lack of any real emotion. Yeah, sounds like a hardcore bark, but that's about it. No passion) and at :14 it just turns into a huge pile of...ugh, I can't say it on BM.

I'm really liking Oli's new vocals style.

I'm really liking Oli's new vocals style. [/quote] It's intolerable when you realize that the whole purpose of the chant is to make br00t4l kids think that the band has evolved and matured. Just look at the over-written album title and the run-on sentence that describes the "concept" of the album (which is by and far amongst the most pedestrian concepts you can come up with). To an easily impressionable kid, this stuff is deep and majestic, without realizing that chants haphazardly thrown into a pseudo-screamo song (come on, a hardcore bark hardly makes your music emotional. Any petty Melodic Metalcore band that's slightly in tune with it's hardcore origins can imitate Oli's vocals) don't mix, and even go against the whole aesthetic of screamo. To BMTH's fanbase, this is Art rock; to everyone else, this is just calculated pomp and teenage angst.

[/quote] I get with what you're saying, but honestly the music isn't that bad, mind recommending any melodic metalcore bands? the only metalcore band I like is Converge :D

The only four bands I somewhat like would be As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, From Autumn to Ashes (I think this is the name of the band, I don't really listen to them), and August Burns Red (Christian band, which means bad lyrics, but meh).
