Hey guys, i made a cleric today and decided to be luckless. A guy told me that when the big bang comes ill be missing on monsters since im luckless.. So im confused. Does anyone know anything about this? Tell me plz

No that's not true. The new accuracy formula is just as dependant on int as it is on luk similar to how it is now. And hits/misses are mostly based on you being close to the monster's level from what I've seen/heard.

@above, l think the accuracy formula only applies to not m.att jobs. (Thief, Warrior, etc.).

[/quote] @ ts no luckles is still fine after the bigbang but henry magic atack = weapon attack most mage shoes come with magic attack mage shoes+ chaos = win luck, weapons have more magic attack then luckless mostly so luck weapons > luckless weapons and luck actually plays a factor in dmg now so its not a useless stat. So luck mages will have a significant advantage above luckless after the bigbang. (no need for luck equips to get the most dmg for their build.)

no it wont gimp your magic accuracy but after BB 1 int will be less than 1 M.attk so having the most powerful staffs/wands will become more important than the extra int

We're basically going to adapt the same kind of attack formula as all the physically oriented class and that never stopped people from making (whatever)-less version of their own class. And on top of that, in the case of an Arch Mage, you NEED a level 163 staff to make it true. Given that its current price is already obnoxiously high to begin with, and it's going to go higher after Big Bang, it's not going to be an "every single character will have it" kind of equip. my friend isnt lukless and he owns all the luckless mages at his level. so i recommend you to add luk to be able to wear high level equips. if not, you will regret it in the end.

INT will no longer be the only relevant accuracy factor. INT will not be ratioed with M.ATT as 1:1 M.Att will act like W.Att, so INT will have less effect. LUK will play a factor, but it would seem the new formulas will let people still go LUKless. In short: Go LUKless, it doesn't matter.

no one answered the question yet. can someone put up a exact answer not your opinion. since many ppl are curious about this... including meh... >-< and is it true tat after bb patch, ap and sp stats will be all reset tat we dont have to worry since we can redo all the factors which we have done. like if you were a lukless you can just fix it once bb patch is done?

Int gives as much acc as luk, and after BB patch you'll 100% hit any monster your level or lower so acc isn't much of an issue. The biggest issue for you would be that magic=/=int later on so that would make lukless less worth it unless you can get all your luk from equips which is even easier nowadays with % equips. For bishops the best weap would turn out to be the reverse aeas since it has a rather high magic potential as opposed to the dds since it's so rare. So...unless you can afford white scrolls and 50% staff magic scrolls to make a perfect dds I don't recommend going lukless since the 40-80luk bishops wielding aeas' would easily outdamage you.
