Dc hackers Dc hackers Dc hackers they are EVERYWHERE! the hack broke out quite a while ago and when it started, it wasn't too bad, people would lose fm spots, training spots, etc. but at first, not too many people did it. Now.. DC hackers control everything. some are paid mesos to dc people and it NEVER STOPS. if you get into a fight with som1, and they happen to be or know a dc hacker, kiss the next 3 hrs goodbye because they will not stop. It's so bad, many people including myself SKIP 2x EXP EVENTS because even if you get a spot to train, you will be dced. So my question is... WHAT IS TAKING NEXON SO LONG TO FIX IT! banning the people who dc hack isn't enough, they always come back. WE NEED SOLUTIONS NEXON. It is so bad, there are people who appear at FM sometimes saying: SELLING DC. people actually pay these people to dc som1 over and over. and while this is going on, where are the GMs? and the worst part about it is. there is nothing a normal mapler can do to avoid dcing. (without downloading some type of hack that stops it) If you have been Dced even once and want it to end, leave a comment. EDIT: well, over 100 people cast their vote in the poll. I specifically set up the thread so there is no way for som1 to know that it was about dc hackers. so out of over 100 random people, there were like 2-3 dc hackers and 60 people who have been dced before. obviously this proves the point that this is a huge problem. yes, 100 is a lil small, but if that statistic held true, over 1 in 2 maplers will get dced at least once. that's way too high... thnx to all who voted, leave more comments ;D

Yeah I know what you mean, I was just dced twice out of my fm spots within the same 5mins (along with other ppl in fm 8 except hired merchants) @ above: for me and others, we were all added into a party (really quick to, no cancel button), and before I could leave, a picture popped up of a pull down scroll and it just keep pulling down until you dced. I didn't get a ss cause as soon as I was dced, maple shut down on me

Dc hacks have been around forever. If you have one guy who seriously wants to destroy the game, it would only take him 10 minutes to create a new hack after the old dc hack gets patched. In other words, this game will always have dc hackers. Windows 7 prevents some dc hacks. Spouse dc hack for example isn't exactly a dc hack, it lags your computer so it feels like you dced. With windows 7, you can still move around as if nothing is happening

lol, i have once, i got an fm spot. i was at tornado corridor, and a guy was like, go away or ill dc u. im like go for, next thing i know, he was like, nvm i wont waste my time. but imma geta bish to gen. and he couldnt rlly ks which was weird, i got lik 1 or 2 kills, b4 he got the cooldowon off.

I got dced a yesterday by auto party hack then they spammed this thingy like a square on the middle of my screen. O.O They had to spam it for a while to dc me. Like 10 seconds.

the scary thing is that I've heard people say tat the dc hacks actually crashed their entire computer not just maple and caused damage to their system. since that, I no longer take the risk of using the fm or training durring 2x events...

For the record on the way that the D/C hacks works. 1. The Spouse chat has a built in glitch. Typing @ over and over again, after having editted the communication packet to include ANYONE'S IGN in the Spouse location, forces a temporary loss of server communication. This is stoppable with a packet blocker which stops a person's attempts from disconnecting you. 2. The Ghost D/C: This is one I'm not TOO familiar with, however, it involves editting a packet regarding the whisper feature. It allows you to type towards a person, D/Cing them instantly. However, unlike the spouse chat, this does not give the D/C victim a chance to screenshot the users name. This however is additionally handled easily using a packet blocker. So, now we move to the important part. Someone I know is running a macro which replaces signal interruption packets sent to him, with the sender's IGN, thus allowing them to D/C themselves instead of him. If you ever get bored, I'm typically flaming the BFP and Jose's sorry existence in front of Spooky Mansion on Ch. 1 in Broa. Come and watch them dissapear from the map from their fail. :D

I use the FM everytime I get on, and I've played all through the D/C hackers and I never got d/ced. Are you talking about some other world and not Deme?

[/quote] In deme i wouldn't worry too much even during 2x events its not that bad to find a ch, our fm isn't too bad either just don't go for an fm 1 or 2 spot with the 1.8knx shop permit.

they should invent a maple packet blocker and have ppl on the side of Nexonwho suscribe to these dc hackers and sent the hack samples to so nexon to blockes it...
