Well, today I went to see "Scott pilgrim vs the world" (wonderful movie) but that's not what this centres around. Just before we arrived at the greater union theatre, I saw a girl that used to attend my school, but moved to a diff school 2 yrs ago. I didn't think she would remember me, but when I walked by with my friend, she looked at me and smiled, I kinda did a half assed smile back to let her know I acknowledged her and whatnot. Anyways, after the movie ended, me and my friend were walking around the shopping centre looking for things to do. We walked around for ages, then came to a conclusion we would probably head home. So just before my friend called his parents, I suggested we get an ice cream from mcdonalds, one of the cheap soft serve cones xD, anyways, we arrived at mcdonalds and were at the end of the line, the girl comes walking around to look for a place to eat, she chose mcdonalds too. So she then sees me again, mind you this was like 4-5 hours after seeing her the first time, so she started talking to me. Now a thing with me is that I'm not good at talking to girls, infact I find it hard :/ cause idk what they will think of me and whatnot. So yea, I kinda have self esteem issues also, I constantly tell myself I'm not good enough to get a GF or even have someone like me. Anyways, back to the main part. She starts talking to me, and I'm answering back (go me!) but then after a min or so, I felt my face burning up, like a hot sensation in my cheeks. I thought i was turning red, so I kinda backed away and she went and ordered food. After that my ice creams came, cause my friend brought them for us. I kinda left without saying anything :/ so I get home, pat my dog, watch TV, do my ironing for my school clothes, then I go on facebook. Now my friend who i was at the shops with had put a post on my wall saying for me to FB message her and he told me what to say. Me being weird like that actually sent this message to her, not expecting to get a reply for like a day or so. The girl had added me when she still attended my school, so sending the message was a breeze. She replied within 1 hour and then I had to wing it. Idk what to do, she's very hot, not 100% sure but she doesn't appear to have a BF, I'm 16 years old. Help me basil, use ur wisdom and guide me . ***Summary for lazy bums ;)*** I saw a girl I hadn't seen for years, she is hot, she talked to me, I felt embarassed and kinda ended convo within a minute or so, I got home, went on facebook, told to message her, messaged her, she replied, I winged it, now what? I'm 16 years old, help me plzzzz

Im guessing this is NSW due to greater union :3 ANYWAYS was it at Burwood o_o (sorries) back to the point if shes cool, nice to you, talks alot, and is everything you need in a girl then i say why not go for it.. even if the worst comes and you get rejected apologize and just be friends.. to work on your self esteem go out more often and get connected with other peepz that you use to know o_o

She's same age, this is in NSW lol, I already asked her what school and stuff, but that was over FB, now she's off for the night and I have a day to think of more stuff. At the shops she seemed talkative but I got embarassed and wimped out, soooo yea, is there any way to stop myself getting embarassed? Also that was probs the longest unforced convo I've had with a girl all year.... Lol I'm so sad..

No joke man, you kind of seem like a loser. I'm sorry but the way you're telling this story just brings you out to look like a loser. Only thing I'm going to say to help you is that no girl is going to like you because basilmarket told you so. No matter what we tell you or not, a girl is not going to be head over heels for you. That is your part, that is YOUR personality. A girl looks at 70% looks and 30% personality and if you don't got any of that, you're screwed.
