title. also, is it safe to do this: so ive been doing a lot of surveys lately (including the cc ones but using the prepaid visa trick) and i heard some people got an email that the police is gonna track their ip and charge them. To avoid this, i've been using my neighbors unsecured wifi to do the surveys so that its not my ip thats shown, its my neighbors ip. is it safe to do this or can the police still find me somehow?

[/quote] 300k - multiple accounts, I'm guessing? Anyway, that's only $300, so I doubt it will be a problem. I know people that have actually gotten thousands from credit card fraud (not for Nexon/video games) and are still alive and kicking.
