First time JB my iPod :: Questions

I'm about to JailBreak my iPod Touch 3G (32GB) 4.0 Model MC . What should I know before I jailbreak, and is there a specifik JB I should use? I found this one fitting my iPod the best, but I heard the names Cydia and Spirit very often. Is the result different, if you use another JB? What is the best JB currently avaidable (fitting my iPod). Does this free-appstore-app you get with jailbreaking contains the best apps out of the real appstore too? (I heard it had more custom apps) Then I found these video's of people using their iPod as a DS, is it possible to play something like Pok�mon: Diamond on the iTouch? Or are only the GBA games avaidable. And is this GBA/DS downloadable in this free-appstore-app, or are these kind of 'aps' harder to get? Thanks for reading/answering my questions! I'm pretty sure only GBA games are available through GPS Phone . Prepare it seems if you jailbreak a item it will get slower , JailBreakMe , Spirit & Blackra1n are all fine applications to JB your iPod/Phone . I haven't regret jailbreaking my iPod but sometimes it really annoys me the speed .

I think with cydia you need installous to get the free apps unless spirit gets them free. I dont think you can play ds games on the ipod unless you can find a download for some.

Go to jailbreakme.com on your iPod and then your pretty much done. Edit: and for any other info go to tysiphonehelp.com for updates on the latest jailbreak software and other helpful information.

Once you go to www.jailbreakme.com and once jailbreak is finished, your iPod will have an APP downloaded onto it called Cydia. Then add this source http://cydia.hackulo.us and then in Cydia search Installous and download that app.

You can get free applications without using your computer by using Installous from Cydia . Note that there are only some applications that work and are available .

Yes, just go to iTunes and click the "restore" button to completely restore it back to factory settings.

I havn't JB'd my Itouch, but you can do alot of things like controlling your comp from your touch but its extremely slow after jb'ing it you wont even need the use of the comp except for charging you can download music, apps, videos and pretty much anything.
