Screen flickers and maplestory dissapears=lhelp pls!

Every time i use gamelauncher.exe i get past anhlad protection and then when the screen turns black (probs loading) it flickers 3 times and dissapears. goes to desktop and then i can't open maplestory again unless i restart. no error codes when it happens. maplestory launching from website never worked in t he first place. anyone have the same problem or ideas to fix?

This won't fix your entire problem, but go to the task manager (ctrl + alt + del for vista/xp or ctrl+shift+esc for w7) and go to the process tab. Maplestory is probably running in the background still, but you can end the process and try running MS again without restarting.

im not running vista or windows 7, its windows xp professional :S kaiman ill try what you said now edit: i can end the maplestory process which i have now and ill try loading again, who knows. no difference kaiman, but it lets me keep reloading without restarting the computer, thanks for trying anyways, any1 else got ideas?

[/quote] Yea I didn't think it would fix the entire problem. But restarting everytime is...annoying to say the least. GL fixing your problem.

edit: actually what i said before is idiotic and wouldnt work as i thought you meant something else, sorry. thats wierd though you should log a ticket to nexon saying they need to update theyre s**t so its compatible with every system. ><

I had the problem when i tried overclocking my card, wich required a restart to fix, and another restart to get another save stable boot to load, when i had that same problem. Try restarting?

There's a thread around here about a guy who's D/Cing at Zakum. Right before he disconnects, his screen flickers (like yours does, I guess). His solution was to lower his graphics resolution/thing.

so what i should do guys? do i need to lower my graphics card, etc? how? or should i just let my computer rest for a bit. i mean i have restarted and retried plenty of times, but your saying 2 restarts in a row, or possibly lower graphics. how can i do so as i have no idea, thx guys
