When you soap in the shower, do you turn the water off?

No, I let it run against my back while I do front + hair, and then I turn around and do back with a scrubbie towel. Otherwise I get cold

I shampoo with the water on my back, when i just body wash i let the waster hit my back while i wash my chest/front, then face the water while washing my back. Im not sure if everyone else does this o-o

My shower isn't too fancy, it's not like the ones where you lift the handle but rather turn the knob. I don't turn my shower off because I'd get cold water once I turn it back on...
