You get 10 dollars every week, how do you spend it?

This is the government of my imagination for this scenario: Here's the situation: You live in a government paid little cubicle thing so the bathrooms and showers are public. You get free utilities, but they are limited. You get 10 dollars a week. You are unemployed because no one wants to hire you. So you have to live on 10 dollars a week for 10 years until you can retire, where the government will pay for everything. In your little cubicle, you get a stove, a mini frying pan, an air mattress, a pillow, a blanket, plastic bowls, and plastic spoons. You only have one pair of clothes, an it is summer year long, so cold is not a problem. Your cubicle also has a little ac. If you get sick, there is a free health clinic that you will stay at, free food there, no bill, but it is very boring, you just lay there getting treatment until you are healed. There are water fountains there for free also. You will not get fat in this 10 years . No taxes on food either . Assume that you are alone in this world, no family, no friends. Once you last 10 years, you will have the a dream all expense paid retirement where you can do whatever. If you need supplies like a can opener, there are some available in the borrow section . What would you buy for the first 5 weeks to set you up? Week: 1 5$ 5 lb rice bag ( cook on stove ) and a 5$ 1 gallon of water ( refill at water fountain ) Week: 2 5 lb rice bag and 5 1$ canned foods. Week: 3 repeat week 2 Week: 4 repeat week 2 Week: 5 10 canned foods Future: I will save up the 10 dollars a week I get while I buy the foods I need... Please make up rational prices or that will ruin the spirit of the scenario . Like saying a 50 lb rice bag is 10 bucks is irrational because a 50 lb rice bag is about 40 bucks minimum. Please don't try to argue with me, just week 1-5 and future L) Thank you Before posting, please read the situation above

pretend tro be sick, save the money and then put it on the bank so it can grow. Every week i'd put 5dollars in the bank. In 10years, thats alot.
