Which one ends up being more powerful in 1st/2nd/3rd job skills? and which one is more fun to play?

Vs each other, the hunter does less damage and its bows cost more, but fire faster, and arrow bomb can stun. Crossbowman does more and it's bows cost less, but fire slower and even though iron arrow(180%) does more than Arrow Bomb(130%) maxed, it doesn't stun. In third job, hunters(ranger) can fire with a fire arrow, good for el nath, while crossbowman(sniper) can fire ice shots, good for other things, can freeze for 3 seconds maxed

1st job advancement: Xbowmen do more damage, but have to wait longer to use new xbows, and attack slower. 2nd job advancement: Xbowmen and Hunters are pretty much evenly matched, except in their mob attack skill, in which hunters are slightly more powerful, because arrow bomb's damage does not decrease based on the number of monsters. 3rd job advancement: Snipers get an ice-based attack, while Rangers get a fire-based attack. Aside from that, their skills are pretty much the same. Overall, xbowmen will be doing more damage, but hitting a bit slower, while hunters will do less damage, but will attack faster. Personally, I prefer Hunters, since they can attack fast without skills.

Does anyone have any screenshots of both of these classes in action? So I can look at them and see what I like? Right now tho - looks like i'm making an xbowman.

I believe crossbowmen are better than hunters, because although bows do fire faster by default, when you add the high damage of a crossbow with bow booster's minimal cost and good effect, you really can't go wrong. Also, while the damage of iron arrow may decrease upon hitting each enemy, it can be looked at as this: 180-->170-->160-->150-->140-->130[Iron Arrow] 130-->130-->130-->130-->130-->130[Arrow Bomb] Overall, while arrow bomb may be better for swarms, its weak damage incurs a slightly higher cost in MP, as compared to Iron arrow, which costs the same and can even go through walls, and also kills the targets faster.

read my xbow guide in gamefaqs... im bias but tried both i like xbowman better... ice shot will help allot in laer training like in bain area... @Alkeirei your comparison is inaccurate since with Crit sho in hand both of those attack damage varries... like iron arrow you wont even notice the decrease in damage since sometime the damage you delt at the back is more powerful than infront...

I know it isn't right, because more factors are added, but it's a gross skeleton only made to show a difference, I didn't mean for it to be perfect.

1st job: its better to choose cross bow in the beginning because both bow and xbow have the same attacking speed until lvl 25 2nd job: this is when you actually notice the dmg difference between the two...i think this is totally opinion 3rd job: this is pretty much the same as the xbowmen have ice shot which is somewhat like bomb arrow and rangers have fire arrow

yes true xiao and also with your equiptments... Xbowman, overall Atk is stronger, overall stat atk is stronger, cheaper weapons and scrolls (god asianic is so overrated -_- compared to Golden Crow its just a design) my analysis with Ice shot (stil havent seen it work)... with longer freeze time than ice mages it really covers our slow attack speed... skills like pupet will also hold enemy... Fireshot is a multi target skills but in high level single powerful attack is better also iron arrow atk power is higher but no element and probably fireshot is longer in range. Fireshot=150% at max iron 180%, 30% can probably cover up for the Elemental damage (but damage goes down every enemy it pierces but not a real problem) the only thing i might like with Ranger is its faster fire rate plus Booster plus strafe...but of course snipier can do this as well just not as fast

I'm just a beginner... Personally, I would say which would you like to see... Speed vs Dmg. For me, I would like to see high dmg.. thus I chose xbowman.. and I'm happy with what I have now. Not that good but avg 1100+ dmg for AB at lvl 38 at around 70% of the time. Feel a sense of satisfaction. True enuff, my shots are much slower than bowman but it doesn't really matters to me.

Crossbowmen have cheaper equipment too. Also, they are basically the same, yah know "speed vs. power"ishness. However (always a however), the xbow is stronger than a sin always, and a sin will eventually overpower an archer. Do you want that sin to ks u, noooo. So go commit suicide ^_^.
