._. A friend of mine quit about a month ago and he came back to visit recently. He had scrolled a 123 att Red Katana (if you're not a warrior, FYI, it's 83 att avg clean). When he came back, he let me borrow it and if he came back he wanted it back. He also let me borrow his 18 att shield. So being the idiot I was, I went out and bought an Advanced Potential scroll and used it on the Katana.. Guess what? FREAKING MAPLESTORY HATES ME. Boom. Over 3b gone. /sulk EDIT: I blew up the Katana, not the shield, though, I'm probably gonna send that back to him before I blow that up too. He's off to college now so he can't play MS much anyways. I feel like sheet though, it was his most prized posession. I really wanna make it up to him, maybe scroll a new one that's just as good. Ugh, I might just send him a bunch of cash through the mail though, how much do you think I should send to compensate for his loss? :/ EDIT2: Where can I find 1H Sword Att GM scrolls? EDIT3: I get it guys, I'm a bad friend, horrible person, irresponsible, etc. What do you think I can do to compensate for his loss? And how much do you think it would cost to scroll him a new one? Could I maybe scroll a godly stonetooth to replace it? EDIT4: I didn't actually cry, I'm not that much of a loser. :| EDIT5: I should've added this part in a lot earlier. I asked him about scrolling it with an adv potential and I told him about the 10% chance of breaking. He told he could never bring himself to scroll it, but it was my decision. Except if I blew it up, he would track me down and bomb my house. O: EDIT6: I didn't know him irl. But he did trust me ingame and we were decent pals.

This is was a form of irresponsibility on your part. However, seeing as how you cannot reverse the consequence of your dire action, here are my suggestions: 1. Apologize. Tell the truth. 2. Buy a new shield or scroll one yourself.* 3. Give him this shield and apologize again. Tell him what a good friend he is for lending you his equipment. *If you cannot afford to buy a MS shield via MTS or FM at the moment, save up for one. Good luck. Also, don't be too hard on yourself. We are human; thus, we are prone to making really insensate mistakes.

I blew up the Katana, not the shield, and trust me, the Katana was worth a lot more. 7/9 10% or 30%s worked. That's crazy. I'm not gonna deny that I was irresponsible, just that my desire dimmed my thouht processes. :l

make a new one quick, it should be a tad easier with the 50%'s even though it won't be the same (loss of the STR) but its worth a shot, and potential first before you scroll.
