Booster on Faster weapons

Hi quick question: Does booster work with Faster weapons? To be specific the Maple Darkmate.

My Characters: Johasua - 60 Broa Bandit

No, don't upgrade booster if you're going to use that for the time being. upgrade something else and come back to booster.

The speed cap is 2. Weapons of Fast(4) will become Faster(2). Weapons with Faster(3) speed will also be Faster(2) with Booster on. I recommend you use a Maple Asura Dagger instead of a Dark Mate if you can. (higher base ATT)

[quote] nickicksu : Wait.. you can go faster than faster? [/quote] There are several "speeds" within a catagory; Fast(5) and Fast(4) are both Fast, Faster(3) and Faster(2) are both Faster. There's no Dagger that can hit the cap (Faster(2)) by itself; for that you need booster. It's also why Shinkitas and Kebobs are so slow. They're Fast(5) and Booster "only" speeds them up to Faster(3).

A Maple Asura Dagger is Fast(4), so slower than a Maple Dark Mate, but with Booster on both Daggers will be Faster(2). Because the Maple Asura Dagger has a higher base ATT you will have a higher DPM with an Asura Dagger (unless the Dark Mate is scrolled and has more ATT than the Asura Dagger).

it really pisses me off how faster 2 is the max i mean theres really no point of having faster daggers since fast 4 and faster 3 daggers are the same with booster faster 1 should be the speed limit

I always wondered by there were two Maple Daggers anyway if both types of Bandits can wear them. (no STR requirement)

Well I got myself a cheap 87/6 darkmate so I'll keep it And I like the look of the darkmate way more anyways.
