which is better doing damage and fun to play?

After Big Bang patch, Marksmen. As for fun to play, Marksmen. Why? Bowmasters spam dragon breath for mobbing and then hurricane, while marksmen have a charge, have snipe, pierce, dragon breath mobbing, and strafe as well. Currently, however, bowmasters have higher DPM, but train far slower than marksmen. Marksmen have higher dpm until around level 150 or so [given your snipe is maxed], but since marksmen get to level 150 faster than bowmasters.

Marksmen Snipe kills almost everything in one hit but has a 3 second cool down if maxed Bowmaster has hurricane and can do more dmg but has to worry about the charge up times and they burn mp pots with it Both have low hp

Well I prefer marksmen honestly, because holding down one button is boring.

And the cooldown is 4 seconds, excluding the server lag. I prefer marksman because of the variety of skills they use.

Actually BMs training speed arent THAT much slower. Its only like 1-2% more per hour (depending on the level)

Cmon let's be honest here, everyone knows bowmasters are better, marksmen just choose to be so because they know there are very few of them and it looks cool to be a high lvl rare class because you have less competition to enter guilds and other stuff (unless you play in scania or other extremly crowded server). When you see a bowmaster attacking you say "wow godly" and people ask you to show your attack, when you see a marksmen attacking, although damage may be higher, you just try to sell him the xbows some monsters drop you. Trust me, it feels better, but if i were you i wouldn't even make an archer, it's boring as hell.

People say marksman because bm's just spam hurricane, which is true But ever wondered what we do at bosses? Hold down the strafe button until you see snipe uncoloured. F2

BMs for bosses, but MMs for training/fun. I kinda wish i was a sniper now, only that this character has sentimental value

I like BMs better because they are easier.Damage + Awesome support skill (SE) = Bossing much

That's one of the reasons why I picked them. ALSO their Final attack is being combined with hurricane now. Here is a Marksman.
