Why is everyone so ashamed of buying nx?

I've seen a lot of threads lately (and in the past) about people being all shy and having those awkward moments when they buy nx. Personally I don't see what the big deal is. I'm 15, and when I buy about 10k-25k nx once a month I just walk right up and buy it. Now you guys don't know me, but I'm a very very very shy person in real life, but when it comes to buying nx I have no problem. I see it as I'm buying something that gives me a sense of fun. Unless I'm buying $100+ I'd see no reason for the situation to be awkward. Only once did the cashier (new guy it is usually the same 24 year old girl but this girl was like 18 and new) give me a funny look when I brought up a card, and all I did was give her a little smirk and say what's your problem? I hear of people getting their younger siblings to get them their card ect and I find that just plain ridiculous. IDC if I'm 27 and still playing I wouldn't mind buying the card. So, why do you think it's so awkward buying nx cards, because I don't see anything wrong with it. Wait until you have to buy condoms, that's where the fun begins EDIT: To the people saying don't buy nx because it's a waste of money. Nothing is a waste of money if it makes you happy. Was that xbox 360 game (and the xbox 360 [or any other gaming system]) you bought a waste of money because in "x" years you won't be playing it anymore? If someone makes someone happy it's not a waste of money to them, it might be to you but that's your own opinion.

Cause the cashiers look at the gamecard and see these colorful chibi characters on them. Guys might find it embarrassing to reveal that they play this kind of game.

I never buy NX and I'm never going to. I've realised that when you buy NX, that real money becomes the property of nexon and could dissapear anytime, if nexon changes something that devalues your NX, if you buy gachapon and you fail, when your items expire, or if Nexon just fails in general. Compared to other gaming compaines, you can get a lot more value out of your $10 / $25 / $100000

hahaha true that. im in the Military and im 20 years old and i go right up with my camo gear and i buy the card, once a chic told me some dood bought 100$ and she was surprised and i answered " if you had a extra 25 dolar one i would buy it also." ( they ran out of 25 cards ). so she asks why do u buy this ? whats it for ? i replied "many games some childish and some like online gun games i play most of the same company so its easy to stay track on how much your wasting. i dont see the problem honestly ...i actually think the girl kinda got turned on by my online fetish over games =D
