When you think about it, is the scroll glitch an exploit?

Here is my opinion on what I think of this glitch or whatever people want to call it. First of all, on the nexon site, there was an announcement that if anyone receives blank scrolls, they are instructed to speak to gaga to trade them for real scrolls. Nexon CLEARLY stated that themselves. Otherwise, why would gaga even bother to say "here let me change that scroll for you." If it's really an exploit, then it should be something people glitch to really get through the game unfairly. But, think about it, people can get those 50% scrolls fairly without needs of 3rd party programs or intentionally glitching the game. Also, think about the time exploited mesos came. Nexon made an announcement about that, did they make an announcement about the scrolls? I don't think so, at least as of now (08/02/2010 at 8:56pm pacific time). Maybe I'm right or maybe i'm wrong. I'm just expressing my opinion on this issue people keep bringing up. I am completely neutral about this matter, and it's really up to those to do it if they really want to scroll their weapons to become godly.

BIG error in ur statement this is what nexon said "Cassandra�s Top Secret Event Blank Scrolls Cassandra will no longer give out 40% blank scrolls. Players who HAVE RECIEVED 40% blank scrolls will be able to trade it in for a 50% scroll by talking to Gaga. If you have multiple blank scrolls, please talk to him multiple times to trade all your scrolls." not who gets scroll after the event info is released but ppl who already HAVE them.

It's not a glitch. Honestly it's not even a exploit. It's just abusing the event.

Yes it is a glitch and exploit. Nexon stated in their last maintenence that they resolved the problem of players receiving any Blank Scrolls. and whoever received one PREVIOUS to the fix were able to turn in for the 50% scroll. BUT, some players were able to GLITCH and exploit the quest to continue to receive these glitched scrolls. Nexon is only keeping this exploit and glitch hidden and low key because they obviously dont want more flaming and harrassment while they figure out another solution. Which will probably be to remove these from circulation Deathbycombo LOL read your post again. "Abusing an event" IS an exploit.

the EVENT is on the v.88 NOTES. for the NEW USER PROMOTION, when you create a new account and get a character to job advance you will get a magnifying glass and a class specific scroll. there are other things like buddylist and get dbl exp at level 20. EDIT: the class specific "scroll" is a blank scroll. you talk to gaga to turn it in for a scroll. for example as a swordman i got a 1H att 40%. as Aran you get 2H weapon 50%.
