Can I Make a DB without the NX Books?

Well as I have a free pass to a lvl 30 DB, should I make one, without the NX Skill books? Is it possible to do, If I only have 5 Slash Storm? (At least for now) I don't know when I can get NX. I can't do the free surveys, or buy NX ATM, or attain NX in any way. Thanks!

You can hunt for most books. Not sure about slash storm and tornado though but apparently you can get those 2 :O

Yes, you can make one without nx. But if you're asking can you have more fun with nx? Yes.

Well see the DB is a secondary to my main Brawler. I don't plan to go far. Its just there when i get bored/frustrated on brawler.

You lose out on two of the best DB Skill combos without NX. FABSUS and FATSUS are your main mobbing combos, and without Flying Assaulter, Blade Storm (requries 20 Slash Storm) and 20 Tornado Spin you'll be stuck using just Upper Stab and weak versions of the other NX skills. Not worth it.

There DPM fails 50+ without using NX.. sure you CAN make one, but good luck

If you make one without getting at least the slash storm skillbook, you won't be able to get to fourth job because you'll have too much SP. Not worth it.

obviously, no one heard me. i said this db is a SECONDARY to my brawler, meaning i won't play it seriously. idc about having great dmg, great dpm, to much sp, etc. i doubt ill even get it past 50. just for when im bored. i hate wasting money and buying nx, so yeah, and the surveys will not work for me. with that said, im sure i can do it w/o the nx books. unless someone wants to bring up some other bs.

[/quote] You seem to act as if you know everything already, so why ask for help? All you're doing is dismissing people's advice.

I made a dual blader to level 70 with out mastery books, I also wasted 8 in endure. Im okay so far though, so yes.
