When does Assassinate replace SB?

When does the DS+Assassinate combo replace SB in terms of dpm? Thanks.

I dont think it does, over ever will o.O I mean, ive seen Shads using SB till 200 But i guess if u kill a monster, going into darksight and walking to it is where its better Since SB is spamable, and assassinate takes a lil more time to cast. Im not sure but how long does it take to cast assassinate? Im guessing in that time u can use SB 2times for 12 hits

He means in a bossing situation. Currently, I think lvl 18 assassinate + bstep matches SB + bstep (excluding the fourth hit). If we ever get no-delay dark sight, lvl 13 assassinate matches it. Not sure about after the bigbang though

yes it does. at maxed level i'm pretty sure the assassinate+it's last hit is also strong than the assassinate+bs combo. mine's lv28 currently and i think it is.
