Am I Ready for Jr. Newties?

So I just hit 103 on my ranger, and I've been grinding at typhons since like level 80. I have 21 hawk and I plan to leave it at that level, as well as max strafe, max AR, and 16 puppet. I have 3.1k hp, so am I ready to head for newts (middle platform of course)? Some of my friends said I should have gone sooner, and some are telling me to go at lvl 110. And if I am, is it easy to get into a party? Are people willing to invite a lvl 103, will it take me a long time to find a party, or should I stay at typhons. If I am not ready, what level should I go to newties? And what other skills or requirements should I meet first? Thanks.

Yea you are. You can go on the platform where they can't hit you and hold down strafe:D

[/quote] Yes you are Not really maybe since you don't get golem exp until 105 so basically they're gaining more since someone's clearing mid and taking less exp Soloing newts middle is pretty good i did it till 115 since I couldn't find good parties You can bottom now too I'd try joining parties at 105 if I were you to get golem exp too. You're buddies probably told u to go at 110 because you'll gain a 11 attack boost from mon (10 attack 5 dex) which helps training by a lot. Edit: I think typhons are better exp, but newts are a lot easier because, A) You can go into the minidungeon B) Not as much of a pot burn C) Less movement D) Helps you get used to potting after every hit.

You should be perfectly fine to newts at your level. About the parties, you're gonna have a tough time finding one unless you can provide something (Hs, Ring, 2x, etc.) that the greedy ass maplers want... "Okay let's go!" "N0 Wa1t! Solo newts instead the dude above is right. Til 105 you can start partying (it'll be amazing) Though strange enough a Outlaw showed me how do Newt. If you have Eagle you can do Bottom too. Just stand a few inches away from the first newt. Summon eagle then when it gets stunned you keep killing until it starts it's transformation into a Golem. During that time you can kill the one behind it and this one does not transform.

I started training there at 100. It's easy for me to get into parties. I just go to ch1 at the newts placeand just sit in a chair and people party me lol.

So what is this "golem exp?" and HyperRyan I have 21 hawk, so should I take the bottom platform at 105 then? I thought middle was the best with the first two newts at my lvl. Thanks.

When your in a party, if another member kills a monster, you have to be at least 5 lvls under the monster's lvl to gain exp from it. Golem is lvl 110. As far as exp training, I heard it went like this from best to worst. Newt parties should be lvl 105 or higher. party newts with HS > typhons > party newts w/o hs > solo newts I soloed newts from lvl 119 to lvl 120 cuz I was too lazy to find a party. Never went to typhons.

Thanks. [/quote] Bottom is better for the nest golem since most rangers cant take a 2.4~2.8k but you have 3.1k hp so..... :]

Go to middle plat till 110. At 110 you should take bottom for nest golems.
