do you guys have any awkward facebook friends? i sure do. i have these girls who won't stop talking all nasty-ish and disgustingly. (lolweirdwords) they keep on talking like they're lesbians... its like very awkward...

When I get a friend request, and its just some half-nude woman as the profile picture at least once a week... Edit: I think some of you would hate me, I add people I've only met once or twice, so I can become better friends with them about 700 from school, 100 from golf/swimming/other 50 from music camps

Travis actually it IS a popularity contest. When you have more friends, and people writing on your wall and being tagged in pictures, you look like someone who is social. Sure, adding everyone who goes to your school makes it look like you're trying to be something more than you actually are, but by requesting and accepting everything you're put in the middle of all the drama and news that's happening with the people around you only on basilmarket would 4 people disagree about adding everyone... I guess you guys think marijuana kills brain cells too

Over winter break, this dude that never talks and eats lunch alone in my AP World class (let's call him John Smith) finally made a Facebook and added probably everyone that appeared on my school's network. My Facebook news feed was filled with nothing except "Katie and 446 friends are now friends with John Smith". I accepted his friend request and decided to check out his wall. It was nothing except "John Smith is now friends with -name-" and "Who are you"? After winter break ended, the kid had over 700 friends. And guess what, he still ate lunch alone and never talked in class. Oh, and to make it worse, his Facebook wall was nearly empty after all the friend request confirms ended. On the flip side, one of the most popular and well liked kids at my school has only a hundred friends. He's not insecure about his friend count, he never added anyone he didn't know, and his wall gets posts and likes everyday.
