Forms of self defense around a dagger

Let me explain, someone suspicious walks up to you and tries to mug you. You pull out a dagger or knife and imobilize him/her. Don't kill them just immobilize 'em. Does anyone now any form of self defense that revolves around the dagger or knife? I can think of one that USES it, and it's called Hapkido. But are there any others? The reason I ask is because I know no self defense other than a few aikido throws...
