Potential scroll on Dual Blade mask

So i recently lvled to 100 on my dual blade and i was wondering if you can use a potential scroll on your mask? Im pretty sure it will work because it has 5 slots, But then again if it blew up... Would i be able to get another one? Because if i blew it up i would be kinda screwed >_>
