I've have an Aran with no funding dexless...pretty fun and really fast lvling especially at Subway PQ.

Remember your evan will pretty much fail unless you get magic guard, which needs nx. I found the aran fun, and decently fast lvling, I didn't take it very far though, as spamming the attack key got annoying after awhile.

Evans are very fast at lvling thanks to all the quests they give us which also gives us our SP plus exp. Fun factor depends on you and if your having fun with the class. Less expensive, meaning no funding? That's again your decision. You would just hit less. Evans can kill BF,Scarlion and perhaps other bosses decently. As for Zak/HT? This depends on the ldr of the party. Up to you.

We can't help if we don't know your taste. People say attacking the keyboard makes an Aran really frustrating, and people say Evan has too slow an attack to be exciting.... I found them both very enjoyable, but it's totally different to other people. The only way to find out is to test them out both... By the way, Aran needs more funding than Evan. (i found it hard to keep up with other warriors while my evan practically fly over other mages without funding)

Evans lvl faster at start cause of quests and very stable dmg. Arans later cause mobbing and gets sick dmg. More fun, evans have a cool variety of powerful skills, like magic flare, does like 8k without funding I think. Less expensive, arans are pot saver but pole arms are very expensive, evans burn alot of mp pots, but like all mages their not very dependant on godly equips. Kill bosses, I'd say arans have better dpm. Evans are kinda slow and their critical sucks compared to others. Still fun with crappy equips: Evans, I feel embarrassed when my aran's dmg is weak.
