Whats up with guys who never talk at school?

ok seriously i know one person and he never talks. He is not in esl. His english smetimes have korean accent but its okay. How come he never ever talks? My convo with him. Me:Hi david David:Hi Me:What did you get on your test? David.82% Me oh i got worse than you. david nod... Me why dont you ever talk? david shrugs off and leave. i am trying to get him talk more.any advice?I think i should not ask why dont you ever talk..

I knew a guy like that just last year. He didn't say a whole word the whole year, even when prompted by the teachers, which got them pissed off. He only spoke to his friends and me once when I said hi. I think the loudest thing I heard come out of his mouth was a cough. He never sneezed. Ever.

You know what. I think you "ticked" him off.... If you want to start a convo, don't ever say like "Why are you so quiet?" that would definitely tick me off, because first of all... you don't know me, second of all, you're trying to start a conversation and get to know me more right? So don't go and ask "Why are you so quiet?" ... How do you expect them to answer you? It just makes the convo awkward... Just sayin.

damn there was this guy in my summer school class last year who was silent too. so on the last day when we had to do a test, I forgot my pencil right, so I asked him for one. and THEN out of no where, he some how got my contact info, and I'm like WTF! I blocked him, so it's all good.
