Well I just finished Soul Eater and I was a bit disappointed with the ending BUT I LOVED THE ART. I'm looking for an anime that's very funny like Soul Eater and that has artwork like Soul Eater (The faces the Thompson sisters made, the sun and moon, etc etc) Something a bit over the top like Gurren Lagann Mecha's would be nice too Not to much romance. no school girls unless the artwork makes it funny not just pantie shots and huge breasts. I'd like if it weren't based in Japan, don't really care though. Demons, occult, steamwork and magic is a HUGGGGGGEEE yes I'd like something that is short (20-50 episodes) and preferably not ongoing An anime that has a lot of emotions displayed through faces, ya know what I mean. Nothing too serious.

Clannad. Don't even bother thinking. #5 Highest rated anime of all time, behind the works of FMA : Brotherhood and Gintama. Your asking for a bit much, there is no humourus mecha anime thats over the top with slight romance with the artwork of Soul eater with emotion.

You'd probably like Full Metal Panic (especially season 2). In fact if you try it and you don't like season 1, just watch 2. You don't need to watch 1 b4 2 really. I never seen 1 or 3, just 2.
