Do I really need DEX?

So Im made a Dexless aran and Im now funding it. Do I really need dex equips since none of the weapons require dex. Instead of getting 7-9dex earring for 60+mill cnt I just buy like a 20 ACC earring for 20m. Wouldnt that give more accuracy that a 9dex earring. Ill also have more dex from my equips. Ill have 37 or more dex just from equips at level 50.

Dexless is very easy if you don't want a glaive :s

You'll need 80 dex for crimson arcglaive, if that's the endgame weapon you want. However, until that point, you're absolutely right- you need accuracy, not dex. If accuracy is cheaper (which I generally found to be the case on my 115 DK), then yeah, you should buy the accuracy gear. By the time you're rich enough to afford an arcglaive, you can always have plenty of dex from gear to get you most of the way to 80 (HT Necklace, the various warrior gears that add dex, ZHelm, etc...). You'll probably just need to perhaps save maybe like 10-30 AP in your 10X or 11X levels to wield arcglaive, but you can worry about that later. For now, save money and go ACC. Look for some of the cheap potential gears available now that add sick amounts to ACC. Unless Big Bang changes things, I can't ever see needing to add Dex again (unless you're a bit shy of 80 for glaive).

I went low dex (35) on my aran because I was unfunded and I still couldn't hit trojans in cpq. It is hard when you can't afford acc equips.

even dexless, getting to 80 dex for the crimson arcglaive isnt too hard, far easier now with all the potential equips. Go dexless, if it is too hard for you, you can add dex later.

Yeah im not worried about a glaive right now its only level 20 and its gonna take a while to get that high.
