What does it do, and how rare must an item be ?

It resets potential for your item. So say if potential'ed an item and got +10% chance to fall in love when attacking Miracle cube can change that [Randomly] to a different stat. So eg. +10% chance to fall in love when attacking ->+11% chance to fall in love when attacking

no, it resets the potential. meaning it takes it off, believe me i tried it. and so, you can use the glasses again to get different stats on the potentials.

And Miracle cubes can change ANY potential item's potential: Ex: Str+ 2% to Dex+2%, Though it is random.

potential scroll is used to find potential on non hidden potential items. there are 70% and 90% scrolls if they dont work then your item blows up. magnifying glasses are used to unlock the potential. if you arent happy with it then use a miracle cube with resets the potential to random stats.

the rarity of an item doesnt matter. any item can have hidden potential. but having hidden potential is random. think of it as an above average item, although with stats that normally wouldnt come on that item. if an item doesnt hvae potential, potential scrolls can be used to give it potential. then magnifying glasses found in general stores are used to unlock the potential. using a miracle cube resets that potential, so that you hvae to use another magnifying glass.
