How does this even work?

Okay..So i tried logging on my old account ..but I couldn't remember the password so I did the password recovery thing. As a result, Nexon gave me a temporary password which allowed me to log on my old account. I then preceded to go to my account info to try to change my password. This resulted in me needing to put my old password in to change it. I tried using the temporary password that they gave me, to no avail. How the heck am I supposed to remember my old password if I'm trying to find out what it was? What the heck. Can anyone tell me if there's anyways to get my account back?

Are you copy and pasting the pw they gave you? Pretty sure you have to type it in by hand.
