| Assuming it's a level 200, will the ST user out damage the LB+24 attack shield user or what? |

| Depends on other equips, you can find formula's in the stickies. I'd say LB though. |

| i'd say the LB should have the edge even apples, you have to look at the cost of each setup though, the Shield setup is disproportionately advantaged there. With potential depending on the abilities shields can get it can become even better yet again. Simply Put: Bang for Buck = ST P inapple S chnapps or Uber WTF OMG HAX like funding = Shield. |

| Lunchbox by a long shot- even when appleing (taking in consideration the different damage formulas and all). Due to: The shield being an extra equip to have potential stats on The Lunchbox being beyond godly by itself... Ect. Senyain worked this one out for me in one of our PMs a while back. |

| Lets assume everything is perfect, dexless, etc. (We already are assuming perfect weapons, so why not? To keep it simple, I'll only consider Watt (asside from str from the shield, Str/dex/etc should be the same between both builds) Now, the optimal Watt equips, ignoring potential stuff (I need to do more research first). Cape: Taru: 38 watt Glove: BWG: 43 Watt Red Sock: 46 (guessing here, it may be 47+ if above average) Belt: Witch/Phaoroh: 26 Watt Ring: Lilin's: 3 Watt Pendant: SNoC: 26 Watt Glasses: Evan's: 31 Watt Total: 213 Then we pick a potion: Apple: 100 Gelt: 120 NDE: 140 Apples are the easiest to get, but the other potions are stronger and untradable.. Then finally, the Weapons: Perfect ST: 153 Watt Perfect Lunch Box + Perfect Maple Warrior Shield: 154 + 36 Watt = 190 Watt Now to compare: For the record, the ST has an advantage of about 8/7 for being 2h, and the LB has an advantage of 69/63 With apple: Perfect ST = 173 LB or LB and Shield Perfect LB = 169 ST With NDE Perfect ST = 175 LB or LB and Shield Perfect LB =167 ST Looking at these numbers, I can draw two conclusions. One, under a perfect senario, the LB wins. Two, take away the LB's shield and the ST will win. |

| Lunchbox's speed means it compensates for being one handed approximately. So 118 attack lunchbox (100%'d) + 12 attack shield = 130 attack stonetooth. |

[/quote] Actually, a 118 LB with a 12 Watt shield is only equal to a 125 ST while naked. Then with Watt equips factored in, the ST will have a greater advantage, assuming you do not forfeit Str/Watt for dex (which is increasingly easier with the extremely random potential system). |

So in that case the ST would be supperior. Also, speed doesnt always mean stronger. In the case of 2h vs. 1h, the advantage from the damage formula is about 8/7 (1.14), and the advantage from a 1h speed is about 1.09 (about 1.095 if it is fast 5 vs. fast 4). As you can see, the advantage the ST has would be greater than the speed advantage the LB has. The only real reason why the LB is supperior to a ST is not speed, its the Watt Shield. @ above: thanks for pointing that out. However, I dont think it will matter too much. The LB will still win with a Watt shield and it will not without it. I also forgot BoF, but... once again its too small of a factor to make me redo everything. |

| With an apple and other attack equips applied, the st would actually be superior as it benefits more from att and % str equips (as a result of the 2 handed sword multiplier). |
