Faux Hawks: Love em or Hate em?

Do you like Faux hawks? (State your gender if you wish) Do you think it makes the guy look like a major idiot, a guy that NOBODY likes? Or do you think it makes them more attractive, or less attractive? In general, do you like it? This is assuming it matches the person. Yes, I have a faux hawk, and I'm just curious. Oh yeah, and what colors do you like them, but hate them in others maybe? I made this thread because I have seen SO MUCH mixed opinions on them.

I know guys who look GORGEOUS with them -sparkly eyes- But, There's still people who use gel and stuff to pull it off, and it looks plain NASTY so honestly, it depends on the person. If they can pull it off, GOOD FOR YOU. If you can't, then don't do it

I use Gatsby to style my fauxhawk. It isn't crazy or anything, just spiked up o.o. Plus, my sides are shaved up, similar to a tape.
