complains about extended SC's and patches

so i see all these threads with complains about extensions, i think its no big issue at all. do you guys even understand how hard it is to program a game like maplestory. they have to translate everything, fix bugs, glitches, name and world changes and a lot more. they are just normal people who are working and making your game you should be happy they are here making mistakes is human. and theres always something unexpected that can happen while updating a game and after all its not Nexon who ruins the game play and who, according to the haters ''FAILS'' every time they have to rollback or extend, i think you should blame it on the hackers and botters. they are making Nexon do this. so i think you should stop hating on Nexon and really look for the core before judging

i'd rather have 3 more hours added on to a server check than to get autobanned in the most popular training spots.

Sometimes they do fail, though. Like all the times a new patch has gone live, and they've discovered a problem within the first half hour, shutting down the servers and making us wait again. Needs more thorough testing.

And I hate how you people always so optimistic about the great NEXON company. You can look at other MMORPG's and they don't have lies and more and more hours of extensions. AND ROLLBACKS! God d***. If there's one thing that prevents us Maple'ers from having a aw some time leveling, it's the fact that we can loose all of our levels because of this dumb concept to prevent hacking. Nexon just makes the worst decisions, and that other rollback the other day, they played it off with no COMPENSATION, no 2x EXP/DROP, nothing. Holy crap I was pissed off. They're just lucky that their game has a great re-play value to it.

[/quote] Me too, even though i rarely train at jesters (always quit a character before they get high enough lvl for jesters) but still i train at rotten skeletons so...

You fail the realize that the SC's and patches aren't our main concern. Our main concern is simply because NEXON cannot abide by their own deadlines. I'm a developer on a pizza slice and trust me, even I abide by my own deadlines.

Its just weird seeing all others games don't have all those extensions over a server check. Not a game "patch".

Why cant they do a server check/maintenence after the ring event was over? I was planning to do Netts all night to get to 50 and get my ring >,<. Hope they extend the event for the amount of time the SC took.
