Heros worth it?

I have a lv 90 hermit and things are just getting amazingly expensive and leveling really slow .. So I was jw. Is making a hero a better choise? If so, what kind of hero should I make? Reguler dex or low/dexless. Thank you

Sounds like you have problems with money, so i would go around reg dex. It's your choice whether to go with Fighter/Sader/Hero or not.

lol leveling a hero will be kinda slow too at 3rd job. just wait til revamp when they get brandish at 3rd job it'll be faster lol

We're the slowest 4th job grinders in general. So only go to 4th job and beyond on your Hermit if you're 200% sure on the class. If you're not at least super sure, choose any other class. xD

Well hero isn't the cheapest class out there, pot costs can rise up if you want to train efficiently. Decent weapons are expensive too, if you choose swords. But they're definitely cheaper than some classes, and really fun to play, I think you would like the playing style really exciting after playing a hermit.

well to be honest with you, all ive played in maplestory was the theif class. and im perfectly fine with it because hermits/nl's are simple classes. the only thing swaying me away from it is the fact that i have to transition from being a dexless to a low dex which could be somewhat costly. i meen i can apq and save up with apples but with broas economy its going to be sorta hard to sell them:/ regardless, ill just keep looking and trying out difrent charecters. thank you for your help

If you can apq then theres no way you will have money troubles with a hero. Unless your some kind of super duper damage bleeb, in which case getting the best equips is always going to be costly no matter what job you chose. But yeah... heros arnt fun... not at all... join pallys I hear they are godly now...(dexless hermit joinin the heros... sounds like another BF kser in the making >.>)

If you are willing to wait untill BB to get past 70, go Dexless, otherwise you will have to AP reset yourself back into the competetives of the warrior class.

I LOVE training my Crusader. Timing Coma on Goby houses takes some practice. Based on your character picture, I assume you're rich enough to go dexless.

Ok you seem nice enough so I'll give it to you straight. Its my belief that Heros are going to reign supreme after the balance patch. Yes I hear that NLs are sopoused to have the highest damage, at least out of the jobs we have now(dont know bout mechanic), but I think the difference is the fact that we can do everything. I read that chaos zak does like 8k touch, and chaos HT does like 20k touch. Where do you go for a job that has enough HP for thesse bosses? Warriors. Whos going to be the new boss attackers after Big Bang for the warrior class? Well the way I hear it, its gonna be heros as one of the top Damage dealers, but I could be wrong lol my facts are more assumptions. Either way though you want a class thats versatile as heck, go with heros. We're fun, we have enough HP(if HBed/washed at lower lvls) to handle the hardest boss', and we deal some nice damage atm but soon we'll be dealing some srsly amazing damage. Sorry for the Wall f3.

[/quote] Actually sairs get the highest DPM, they changed the multiplier. Also, everyone is getting a huge HP boost + DrKs are necessary for their HB, a mandate for any high-damage bosses where you want any real attackers (NOT heroes). Even with Brave Slash, they are only moderate bossers. You want nice damage output, go with NLs, or Sairs. You want to be needed for the stronger bosses, go DrK. Your reasons all point to other classes, not Heroes, as the best choice.

Great 1 v3 and now due to enrage decent on 1v1, doesn't need HB to survive bosses and just incase you forgot, you can get self HB now.
