| Yes, I dislike dual blades. Yes, this is yet another thread. So what was nexon thinking when they decided to take a nightlord and shadowers' best skills, throw them together, then call it a day? Flash jump? Shadow partner? 8 hit savage blow? Really? I've seen decently-poorly funded dual blades outdamage level 90s (of different classes) with the same equips. Dual blades are just ridiculously overpowered. I bet you're thinking now, "But they have low hp to make up for it". Well guess what, plenty of classes deal with it already (namely, all the ranged bossers). Not to mention, they have extremely high avoid, flash bang, damage reducing shadow partner, and a mini-puppet. Lolwut. Did I mention thorns? Did I mention the ability to train at monsters leveled near 30 higher? Did i mention an ultimate ? They pretty much destroy 90% of classes in terms of bossing, 90% of classes in terms of bossing, and 90% of classes in training, and nexon/wizet/whoever charges 30 bucks to play it. I know many of you say that other class skill books (tt30, gene30, zerk30, etc.) cost ridiculous amounts of money, too. But those skills aren't manditory for having satisfactory levels of enjoyment. I can go till level 190 with level 20 tt, which is pretty decent already. There are level 16-17x bishops without gene30 and they don't complain one bit. But you absolutely NEED nx to play a dual blade. To flamers out there, I'm well aware that this is a free game, but dual blades are definitely not free characters. Restricting someone from playing a class doesn't meet their nx policy of "you don't need nx to play, but we hope you'll buy it anyways". On another note, what advantages does a shadower have over a dual blade (mentioning this class specifically because it probably got the most shafted by the class)? Damage? Nope. Solo bossing? Nope. Party bossing? Nope. Avoidability? Nope. Training? Nope. Mobility? Nope. Invincibility frames? Nope. Party skills? Nope. Come on, dbs even get SMOKESCREEN (or at least, a better version of it ). Probably the only thing shads have over dbs is survivability, and that's not saying much considering they still have decent hp, iframes, and damage reduction. And besides, every other ranged class deals with that anyways. To wrap it up, I'd like to say things to people who tell me to QQ and get out. I'm not complaining that dual blades ruin the game, I'm just saying that in my opinion, they're overpowered and unfair to many other preexisting classes. I'm also not saying that I DISLIKE people who play dual blades; I know from experience as being a nl (lolflame) that you really have to judge the player and not the class. But I dislike nexon's approach to handing out new classes that are strictly better than others. And no, I've had pretty much no problem with arans and evans, even when they came out. I see how warriors and mages would see differently, but this isn't really the case with dbs. At least arans and evans came with DRAWBACKS and didn't shaft e |

|
brentiepoo : What skill is a smokescreen? Just wanna know. And Shads have twice has much survivability. Invinc Frames doesn't mean god mode. You have bad timing or are unlucky and lag and guess what? You die. The "damage reduction shadow partner" is a puppet and takes absolutely no damage for you. So don't go saying they have no flaws cause they do. They're one of the worst classes in terms of survivability because they are melee with barely more hp than a NL.
Ok, at least they have more hp than a nightlord. What about nightlords and bowmasters and marksmen and corsairs? They're good at bossing and have super low survivability. Not to mention the fact that they all have big drawbacks outside of bossing, too. And yes, dual blades are pretty much ranged classes while bossing. COH has ridiculous range for a melee class. Touch damage doesn't really come into effect, and they can just fj out of the way if necessary. |

|
Looterlord : Flash bang, not to mention it doesn't have a cooldown and lasts longer. :P Yes, I'm a thief. Lets leave it as that.
What are you talking about. It has a CHANCE to blind the monster. and lv 1 has an 80 second cooldown. Can you please think before you post stupid stuff. |

| Looterlord They're still closer to the boss while fighting it. Most ranged classes are only hit from magic attacks while at the boss. IE Scar. 2-3k magic in final form and 7k+ touch damage. That's the difference between surviving and dying. And they only have more hp then NL because they get it from their equips. Mainly kataras. And COH doesn't move bosses, or you. You still need to be close for it to work on anything other than a normal mob monster. |

| FB has a chance to blind, and even if they are blind there is a chance you can get hit, unlike smokescreen. |

|
Looterlord : Gee, ok I apologize. 600 second cooldown smokescreen is obviously better than 60 second fb cooldown.
Ok, I honestly think that flash bang is worse than smokescreen seeing as how I've used both skills already, but that's just my opinion. Max flashbang has only a 70% to blind the enemy for 20 seconds. Max smokescreen completely nullifies dmg for 60 seconds. |

| Can't disagree. I don't really mind/care, but that doesn't mean I still don't think the idea of introducing an overpowered third branch isn't stupid. |
