Everytime there is THAT one annoying kid who trades you when your trying to sell a item in FM. 1. They ask how much for [Item]. 2. You awsner 3. They say- "Lol its not worth that much, i'v seen [Item] for much cheaper" 4. You say , "show me" 5. They cancel trade. Like what the hell? And this happens plenty of times in FM. I end up selling the item eventually spamming at fm anyways. Just annoys me how they trade you to hopefully get a low price THEN try to tell you there is one for a lower price and for god knows why they didnt buy it for that price if it actually existed. So today at FM im selling my taru totems for 600M eac. Fair pricing. Kid trades me and tells me "they are only worth 500M eac i saw ten of them at that price" I ask him to show me and of course he declines. So i decided to check if its true. And after around 40 minutes of sufing FM i dont see 1 squat of a taru totem anywhere. Like if he was telling the turth i wouldnt be so darn annoyed. But i just watsed 40 minutes of my life surfing through FM and then i come back seeing him trying to sell his 9 acc trash shoes which should be droped and burned.

It's funnier when they try to sell a "godly" item and make up c/o... and they make it super high... I actually got acuzed of doing that once... trying to sell my 56 attack shinobi.. one guy offered 1b.. ( i ended up selling it for that much even though i think i could've gotten more) and once a guy in the fm entrance jhust stood by me spamming "Noone has offered, dont buy from this person" (he was a total random.. never met him before).. Then right beofre i sold it i smegaed and summoned 100s of merchers to ch5 fm 10... only 2-3 legit buyers... and one guy said the guy i sold it to was a friend of mine and was going to give me my claw back and i as gonna give him his money after everybody left... seriosuly people are so paranoid some times Edit: I gotta admit i ended up becoming friends with the guy i sold the shinobi to, because we talked for about a week cause i kept backing up from the sale... it all ended up well tho

It's even worse when you put up a Starting Bid on basil and then they message you in game offering around that price. And then they proceed to spam you saying that it's not worth your reserve price when they're clearly trying to get a really cheap price. I've had this happen too many times now.. and I've only started this basil account recently. Merchers like that suck.

If they had a banner up saying "All you maplers suck and whine too much" They will be losing more players because of their outright ignorance. But you have to understand, Maplestory consists of a community that has a wide range of age, meaning there are lots of 10 year olds and younger players here. Take this for example; A little 8 year old wants a brand new toy very badly, and their parent's won't let him have it. What's the kid's reaction? Whine, be pouty, and be rude. Now replace the 8 year old with the rude trader you encountered, and the parent is you. It's just a natural way for a kid to act when they failed to get something they desire. You'll just have to live with it.

If i buy low and sell high it really is no skin off my bones. If people cry that i can get money by merchanting then oh well. Im not going to get something for like 500k less then the original price then it was worth merchanting its go big or go home. Edit: if you want the price you wnat to sell it at take c/o or open a shop instead of just raging over it.
