I want to make a dual blade just for kicks, play it a little ( 1-2 hours day for a 2-3 weeks), and then stop. Is it possible to do this with little funding? And do I need any skillbooks? (Are there any skill books that I especially need or otherwise would suck?)

I've started from scratch completely, and it's been a blast. I'm even regDEX (Lv.35, 70 base DEX) and I'm still training as fast as I was when I had an uber-funded Bandit. So the choice is up to you. In my opinion, the Dual Blade is an easy way to have a strong character with minimal funding. VERY minimal. Go for it.

unless you get 70+ you wont really need Cash shopp books, you can live without them even if your loose a bit of power the only book that can be usefulle alry is the 2,9k one(slash storm) after 70 then you absolutely need them or its not even worth training past that lv without them... youll be so weak and slow nearly all class will beat you in damage and training(mirror image and flying assaulter)
