Asking Basil won't help because you'd need to provide proof you own it. That and if you already own it why look for another copy?

Technically you can only do it for research purposes only, and even then if you don't own the original copy you'll still get in trouble with the law.

It's kinda along the lines of getting a ROM of a game you do own the physical copy of (cartridge) but has since degraded or is unreadable. But disclaimer: I am not a lawyer.
