Brand New and No Funds, what class can I make?

I understand that with all games a person needs some money to get anywhere. I can eventually make money but I don't have any to start out with. What kind of character requires the least amount of money but can still help me get somewhere so that I can make the money needed to start a more powerful character? Additionally any standard advice for playing would be helpful, such as good ways to make money, and which server to make my character in. Thank you!

Brawler is fun. Fast, strong, and good balance of HP/MP.

You probably want to make a mage then if you have no funding. Try an I/L mage.

beginner requires NO mesos at all like im not kidding you can just stick with your noob equips till higher lvls (30+?) untill then just make friends and ask them to supply you with the potions needed to train which will be white potions and blue potions for a long time it will take a while to get to lvl 30 and they will be very boring from their lack of skills but if you want to get the farthest with the least amount of mesos then yeah... beginners are for you or dont listen to me at all and take the other people's advice EDIT: you dont even need mp potions all you would need is hp potions like unless you plan on training with 3 snails, then you might wana bring some mp poitons

Lukless clerics are probably the least expensive and most likely to make lots of money. Although if you want to have fun I would also suggest a Brawler.

Clerics are pretty cheap. Healing takes away the need to buy hp pots. They just don't do very much damage...

[/quote] yes high level beginners are the true pros of maple if you can get 1 to lvl 30+ people will respect you for your hard work if you can get 1 to above lvl 50 you are pro, nuff said they are very cheap to fund, all they really need is a weapon and nothing else they need little to no mp potions but they do need hp potions (obviously)

Clerics are pretty cheap indeed. Whoever said Bowman is wrong. Their equips can be deathly expensive, especially a good Kandiva.

Imo Brawler is boring. DB is the funnest class to me, too bad you must buy books. Just go buy like 10k NX and you'll be set for a while.

Thunder breaker.Very cheap equips and very high damage.
