Is GMS Really Global?

Well if it's global why is it only canada and united states.. (I think, kind of like back then during the BETA with the east and the west.) Everyone should just be in one server and you can change the language you want as an option, of course if people from Korea, or Europe can come to GMS I don't think they would or idk... Please discuss :D

It's global in a sense that it's the version for people who don't have their own localized version. So if you aren't in the jurisdiction of any of the other maple versions, then you can play GMS. Also the lag would be horrendous if everyone in the world all played 1 version

Technically speaking, it isn't global. The surveys GMS provides aren't eligible in every country, or in most of the developed countries. Even Mexico and Quebec (one of Canada's provinces) are excluded and deemed ineligible locations to participate.

GMS started out as global, and people can still play from around the world. Just no one outside of North America can make accounts anymore =P And at the above im English, and im not playing EMS =P Mainly because i started out at the beta...but anyway you see my point.

It is global in the sense that it provides service to regions that don't already have a localized version. For example, There is no Philippines Maple Story, so those who live in the Philippines will be able to play GMS. There is a China Maple Story, so those who live in China can ONLY play CMS.

isn't global at all, it's just because english is the universal language, but if you analize it, most of the beneficts are only in USA and Canada

It's not even called GMS anymore. NAMS has been the name for a while.
