It sucked beyond belief... 1) The community was just as bad as it is today 2) It was ALOT harder to train 3) There was barely anything to do 4) Your entire day was spent just afk in lpq waiting to go inside even though you would fail anyways. (No life to get to 120 in 5 days? More like No life spending 7 hours a day doing nothing to get 50%) 5) Same as number 4 except for KPQ 6) You people complain about slow exp now. What about back then where training spots were worse and there was no 2x cards 7) Wizet IS nexon. Wizet is programs maple so ALL these glitchs today. GEUSS WHAT, its WIZETS FAULT. 8) New Jobs 9) New pqs 10) New Areas 11) Bigger Contents 12) Faster Contents 13) Customer Service was just as lousy back then. Since you people have no brains, you guys decided to join the recent bandwaggon to hate on Nexon/Wizet. 14) Public hacking has DROPPED ALOT. Back then, you couldnt enter a map without a hacker there. Now, there is only a small amount of hackers compared to back then. -The Last Statement- Maple was NOT better back then. It is 34985843x better now than back then. It was only better back then to you cause it was NEW. Do you know how you buy video games and it may be fun now? It wont be fun after 10 years. Same logic is applied. Everyone will be fun at first but you will get tired of it. Its not Nexon's/Wizet's fault, Its not the community, Its no one's fault. Its just time passing by.

True. I always quit in my 3x's back then cause 1)leveling was slow and 2)There was nothing to do. If it were still just Victoria Island and Ossyria, I'd have quit already.

I hate it when people make these kinds of titles. Well, at least you're not one of those guys who are like "I'm from beta and I hate nexon for ruining maplestory". After all, you're right, embrace the new MapleStory because it's too much better than the old crap.

I enjoyed the old days it was much more fun because seeing nx was rare and the community was much better. Its all your opinion though, some prefer the new MS because if you buy nx theres no challenge what so ever because you just 2x and you can get mesos easy, if you dont well its much more difficult.

[/quote] No one ever claimed to be "bad ass", its nice to think about the past, plus think of it this way, your parents tell you about how it was when they were little do you think they're trying to be a "bad ass" because they tell you about something? no.

We don't enjoy the classics just for that, LESS people, obviously if you were in a crappy community you didn't have all your friends with you. No one was fighting for a map. It was possible to get to 120 still. .__. Not everything was about NX atm. I'm pretty sure Wizet makes the game and Nexon does all the money related things to it. Your rant is pretty pointless cause your missing a lot of things. I've actually played in the classics, I still like it, I had my friends with me, no mesos. It's all corruption now, a 35 DB can hit golems? A Level 30 DB can out do a 45 Brawler? Where's the point of the higher level you are the more damage you can do than the other?

Well atleast the hacks back then didnt really affect you, just change channel and your fine. Now you're getting D/C'ed out of maplestory thus ruining the game to an extent. For example you get a door spot and FM1, boom your D/C'ed by some childish FM guild. Also the hacks back then didn't cause rollbacks ruining the fun for everyone like the meso exploits. I do agree that the new maplestory is better at some aspects but the old also has its pros.

Only a small population of Maple gets dc hacked. Hacks like PG hacks lagged the server and prevent people from training. You also couldnt train efficently cause if people are Vaccing monsters away, you cant get exp. You want to CC?, GEUSS WHAT, ANOTHER HACKER! Besides, remember what I said that time is just passing by. Of course hacks will get worser, cause Hackers are getting smarter.
