Critical Ring or Cruel Ring on Sins

Hi , I just recently came back to maple. and my friend told me about the explorer rings. so i was wondering which ring should i get for my sin o-o. critical or cruel thanks

Either is fine with current stuff (not sure exactly on how Nexon decides to keep the numbers post-Big Bang though) since Cruel gives a tiny advantage on solo'ing and Critical gives a tiny advantage when partied with a SE'er. xD

Critical is better as of the current KMS patch. However, it was Cruel not long ago. Assumming they won't change the rings again, it's currently best to get the Critical Ring, solo or not. Even without SE, Critical Ring currently surpasses the Cruel Ring in KMS.

I've heard it's Critical now, but I honestly get all my info from other people on Basil... I don't think that the difference in damage is super significant...

Nexon keeps changing things up, so who knows. As of now: Cruel ring is better, but post big-bang, it alternates every other week.

i got cruel = P because it feels like the addition 10% damage is more useful then the extra 5% crit =P

John, as of now, Cruel is better, SE or not. Later, Critical Rings will be nerfed even further, making them crap; and Cruel will be even more better. Then they're gonna nerf the Cruel Rings too and then Critical will be better, SE or not. I got both. <3 As of the current KMS patch, Critical is better.

[/quote] so assuming gms follows kms, crit will go crap, but suddenly shine?

That's correct. As of now, Cruel is currently 3 ATK with +20% Critical Damage and +5% Critical Chance. Critical is 2 ATK with +10% Critical Damage and +10% Critical Chance. Currently, with or without SE, the Cruel Ring outdoes the Critical Ring. There is a slight difference in damage with the Critical Ring being better BEFORE the extra 1 ATT is applied, but afterwards the extra 1 ATK makes the Cruel Ring even better with SE on. Later, they will remove the extra Critical Damage from the Critical Ring. That makes the Cruel Ring even better. On another later patch, they will remove the extra Critical Damage from the Cruel Ring as well. That would then make the Critical Ring better, in both situations. I HOPE YOU GOT BOTH RINGS CAUSE YESTERDAY WAS THE LAST OPPURTINITY TO DO SO.
