Glitched Potential Stats?

I recently potential scroll my Neschere and it gave 6% Total Damage and +5 INT. However when I equip it, my damage range and my INT stays the same...glitch?

The 6% total damage doesn't show up in your damage range, it affects the numbers that you actually hit.

Is % total dmg the best stat you can get on a weapon?

Pretty sure % damage on bosses is the best. It ranges from 20-30% which is a huge boost.

i had damage 6% and 6%attack on my bow both were good but after a few more cubes 12%crit works out nicely

They can also add different stats on your equips that you didnt have before. You need to have a fully scrolled equip meaning no slots. Hammers don't count and each time one lands successfully the % drops. There are two kinds of them. One that is common that drops from any mob is a 80% success rate. Drops 10% each time for a total of 8 stars. The second one is a 100% success rate and drops 10% each time for a total of 8 stars also. The 100% ones are only found from bosses like chaos zakum.
